The lower or load ball joint is one that supports the force exerted by an elastic element used to support the weight of the vehicle and at the same time together with the upper ball joint they allow the wheels to turn left or right. It has to be manufactured to be subjected to great efforts, and being a safety piece, the materials and processes have to guarantee its correct operation, since its optimal performance is important.
The composition of the materials is very important, in this sense the production and assembly of the piece has a lot to do with it.
USUAL WEAR AND WHEN TO CHANGE THE BOTTOM HEAD
The kneecap generally wears out from stress built up over a period of time, or from an episode of force majeure such as a car accident. It is important when the vehicle has a time of use, review the manual made by the brand. In the case of noticing a knocking noise when the vehicle wheels are turning, it is important to check it. If it is necessary to change it, it is suggested to change both ball joints that make up the vehicle’s suspension system.
