This part is used in rack and pinion systems. Screwed to the steering shaft, it drives axial forces, providing the connection between the rack and the tie rod end. With an adjustable screw, this set allows better alignment of the wheels, which improves vehicle movement in a straight line and reduces asymmetric tire wear.
