The Axial Rack, is to handle in the rack and pinion systems .. Subject to the steering bar, communicates axial forces. The radial or outer joint, located on one side of the wheel, communicates tangential forces. Considering the latter as the ball joint or steering end, as indicated is the connection between the axial joint and the wheels, transmitting the force of the sprocket to the steering joint. These two articulations are joined by an adjustable thread, which allows the adjustment of the convergence of the wheels and the improvement of the function of the movement of the vehicle in a straight line, while reducing the asymmetric wear of the tires, keeping in mind which is one of the main pivots of the steering system and the one that makes the wheels turn.

The wear of this part can be understood by the age of the vehicle, the mileage / miles of it, its general condition regarding use and its care. These characteristics can affect the rubber bellows and lead to corrosion and the introduction of particles, dirt into the joints.
